President's Message 2008

Greetings!
Indian American nurses’ contribution to the health and well-being of the nation is immeasurable. In today’s ever changing health care needs of the society, nurses are required to meet the complex and difficult task of meeting the health care needs of all. Without any doubt I will say, Indian nurses play a pivotal role in achieving this goal and history proves it. The recognition of our past achievements will inspire us and the next generation to take a more active role and INA-NY hopes to stand behind all and also foster networking among the next generations.

Needless to say, like any other association, INA-NY also requires dedication and team spirit. I would like to thank each and every member of the association and others who stand behind and support the association in many ways for their relentless support. You give strength to the association and in turn enable the association to provide wonderful opportunities such as continuing education, networking, and conferences to its members. Therefore, get involved! Have your voice heard and not lost in the crowd! Tell all your Indian nurse friends and nursing students to join today! Let us serve united!

Solymole Kuruvilla, PhD, ACNP, BC
Secretary 2010-2011
